Flipping Out at the Ballroom at the Ben!

We recently worked with Dana to provide flipbooks at her cousin’s wedding at the beautiful Ballroom at the Ben. Dana acted as the Matron of Honor and gave her cousin LoriAnn and her new husband Bryan one of our flipbooks stations as a wedding gift. Here’s what Dana had to say about our services:

“I just wanted to say that having the flip book booth at the wedding was AWESOME!! When I tell you that it was all the rage at the reception, I am not lying!! People are still talking about it! It was no hassle, no fuss, just pure FUN! The books were out fast and well put together and your staff went above and beyond to help anyone! They were superb! I would DEFINITELY recommend you guys to anyone that wanted to take their party up a notch, or FIFTY!!

Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation's Battle Blast Fund Raiser!

GO FESTIVE! recently worked with a local sorority organization to benefit diabetes awareness, and had a BLAST! The event was organized by the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority chapter at St. Joseph’s University, and took place on St. Joseph’s campus on a beautiful spring afternoon. GO FESTIVE! team members facilitated a Battle Blast Laser Tag Tournament for twenty teams of college students who got right into the swing of things and participated in tiered competition all day for the Grand Prize: A two hour Battle Blast Laser Tag party of their own!

Opportunities is an organization that helps homeless and other at-risk youth and young adults to achieve their academic potential and professional goals by offering them supportive services and stable housing. Opportunities will be holding a fund raiser and silent auction at one of our favorite spots: North Bowl! In addition to great auction offerings like an autographed Desean Jackson jersey, Opportunities will be auctioning off all sorts of GO FESTIVE! packages!! Place a bid for your chance to win a Festive Fotobooth package, Flip for Flipbooks package, Fun Flicks outdoor movie night or Festive Fun + Games video game party, or even a Battle Blast laser tag party!

GO FESTIVE! goes Unbridaled!

Listen up all you brides! GO FESTIVE! will once again be participating in the great alternative bridal show phenomenon known as Unbridaled! Unbridaled is an exclusive event that focuses on local, environmentally friendly, alternative options for wedding planning. In years past it’s been a huge success and a really great time!

This year the folks at Unbridaled are hosting a Style Expo in addition to the main event. The Unbridaled Style Expo will take place on Sunday, April 25 at The Wardrobe Boutique (1822 Spring Garden St.). GO FESTIVE! will be there welcoming brides into the photobooth and helping to make this one-of-a-kind event even better!

GO FESTIVE! at ISES Fresh!2010

Greetings Everyone! We just want to get the word out that GO FESTIVE! will be at the International Special Events Society Industry Showcase – Fresh!2010 – on Wednesday, March 24. BATTLE BLAST! Mobile Laser Tag Launch Party

Hey Festive Friends! We hope you all got a chance to stop by our launch party last Friday – it was a real treat! As you may have heard, we are now offering mobile laser tag parties! We bring the inflatable obstacles and the guns, and you provide teams of people ready to have fun! Our laser tag parties can take place indoors – in a gym, cafeteria, even in an office, amongst the cubicles! Of course we can also bring the party outdoors (day OR night!) to play on an open field, in your backyard, or around a community park!

To introduce this great new service to the public, we had a launch party on March 5 at our building, 2424 Studios which has a space just perfect for large gatherings and good times – the Skybox! We set up our inflatable laser tag obstacles and ran laser tag games all evening long. To keep our guests entertained while waiting their turn, we also had a photobooth and a JUMBO 21′ tall inflatable screen where guests played Wii Fit and Guitar Hero!

One of the best things about GO FESTIVE! is our team – they’re all great people who love to have a good time. And they have great friends and family members who came to pitch in for setting up the party. Of course, we wanted them to enjoy as well! From our owner Natalie’s husband Matt to the friends and family of our team members, people turned out to enjoy and make the party a success! Check out the pictures below from this great night of fun!

Of course, a GO FESTIVE! party wouldn’t be a party without the photobooth that started it all! Christine and Todd finally got to jump in the booth together for the first time…

To top off this great evening, GO FESTIVE! held a drawing – the winner won a free two hour BATTLE BLAST Laser Tag Party for up to 24 people. The lucky winner was Jess Croll, a teacher in Chester School District. So congrats to Jess, and thanks to everyone who came out to join us!

TLC Casting Notice for "Four Weddings"

I don’t know about you, but I’m addicted to wedding shows! If you turn on my T.V. you’re likely to see a wedding dress, cake, or centerpiece. Once TLC’s new show “Four Weddings” airs you shouldn’t be surprised to see a Philadelphia wedding on my screen.

TLC is currently interviewing Philadelphia brides that are getting married before April 11, 2010 to be featured in their new show. Unlike some wedding shows that portray brides in a negative light or show only $500,000+ weddings, “Four Weddings” will reveal each bride’s hard work and their drastically different weddings. The brides will also collaborate with one another and attend each others weddings! Wouldn’t it be nice to attend a wedding without the obligation to buy some random gift?

As if it isn’t exciting enough to have your wedding featured on TLC, you could also win an all expenses paid honeymoon for your first wedding anniversary!
