Go Festive! sings and dances along with Mega Music Fest!

Karen hired Go Festive! to be a part of her daughter’s debut. Ashley was a dancer for the Mega Music Fest and Karen wanted to show her off  in a MEGA way. She invited her family, friends, neighbors, and everyone else to see her daughter dance away on our 21′ screen. Everyone enjoyed the show, ate popcorn, and even indulged in an awesome candy display. Congratulations to Ashley and thanks to Karen for including us in your big day!

Best of the Main Line with Main Line Today

Last night Go Festive had the pleasure of being part of this amazing party at Drexelbrook. Over 80 exhibitors, who won Best of Awards from Main Line Today, joined us in this celebration to benefit Mommy’s Light, Women’s Resource Center and Home of the Sparrow. Everyone had a great time eating, drinking, and of course taking pictures in the photobooth! The venue was absolutely stunning, and a perfect fit for all of the guests who attended. We are proud to have been a sponsor of this event.

Praise for our Festive Fotobooths!

GO FESTIVE! recently had the pleasure of working with Isis Petrie, an event planner with POSH Events on a gorgeous wedding. Larissa and Julio were married on May 30 at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, NJ; one of our favorite venues! The wedding was beautiful and we were happy to be a part of it. Here’s what Isis had to say about our services. We appreciate the compliments!

“I just wanted to take a moment out of the craziness of this week to send a sincere thank you to everyone for your contributions at Larissa & Julio’s wedding. The couple has expressed to me  that the wedding exceeded their expectations and they were very pleased with how everything turned out.

As a Coordinator, I recognize that I am only as good as the event partners I surround myself with.  I am glad that I was able to work with a vendor team that works with the same level of professionalism, dedication and wonderful product that I try to achieve.”

~Isis Petrie, POSH Events

Flipping Out at the Ballroom at the Ben!

We recently worked with Dana to provide flipbooks at her cousin’s wedding at the beautiful Ballroom at the Ben. Dana acted as the Matron of Honor and gave her cousin LoriAnn and her new husband Bryan one of our flipbooks stations as a wedding gift. Here’s what Dana had to say about our services:

“I just wanted to say that having the flip book booth at the wedding was AWESOME!! When I tell you that it was all the rage at the reception, I am not lying!! People are still talking about it! It was no hassle, no fuss, just pure FUN! The books were out fast and well put together and your staff went above and beyond to help anyone! They were superb! I would DEFINITELY recommend you guys to anyone that wanted to take their party up a notch, or FIFTY!!

~Dana”

We had a great time working with Dana, LoriAnn and Bryan. The wedding reception was beautiful, and we’re so happy that we got to be a part of such a great celebration. If you or someone you know wants to take their party up a notch – or fifty notches – give us a call! The GO FESTIVE! team is always ready for a party!

Top 5 Fun Ways Your Organization Can Raise Money!

As a member of a charitable or other non-profit organization, you know that raising money is a vital and ongoing practice. Without donations coming in, your organization can’t keep doing its valuable work. At GO FESTIVE! we appreciate the good deeds non-profits do, and we want to make sure you can continue to succeed. Below is our Top 5 list of ideas on how to raise money for your organization while having a great time and reaching out to your community!

Idea #1: Have a Movie Night! Who doesn’t love the idea of a drive-in movie? Our Fun Flicks movie packages are the perfect way to bring people together for a night of cinema under the stars. We like to say that it’s all the fun of the drive-in, without the cars! Your organization can sell tickets and concessions to raise money for your cause.

Idea #2: Host a Silent Auction! Silent auctions are a great way to raise money for your organization without incurring overhead costs. Ask local businesses to donate goods or services or provide them at cost and then invite members of your community for a night of entertainment and bidding! GO FESTIVE! offers great packages for auctions, and we’ll even donate a photobooth for the evening of your event if you auction off all five of our services!

Idea #3: Arrange a Laser Tag Tournament! GO FESTIVE’S Battle Blast Laser Tag isn’t just for parties – it’s also great for raising money! Sign up teams of up to six players and GO FESTIVE! will run a day-long tournament. The winning team gets a 2-hour Battle Blast Party! Your organization pays $40 per team to GO FESTIVE!, but can charge whatever you wish for teams to sign up – giving you the opportunity to raise money from each and every team. We only require a minimum of 12 teams to have a tournament, so get your friends and family together and let’s play!

Idea #4: Hold a Video Game Tournament! Games like Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Wii Sports are fun for everyone – players and audience alike. GO FESTIVE!’s jumbo inflatable movie screens make the perfect canvas on which to duke it out for a good cause! Simply book a GO FESTIVE! Fun + Games party and charge admission for tournament play. GO FESTIVE! will provide the screen, sound and projector equipment, all you need to supply is the gaming system and game disk!

Idea #5: Throw a community carnival! Your friends and neighbors will be more than willing to support your cause when there’s so much fun involved! Invite local businesses, artists, and vendors to purchase table space and display their wares. Have fun activities for kids and adults alike – dance competitions, arts and crafts, rides and games. GO FESTIVE! offers many fun party activities like photobooths and flipbooks that will enhance your carnival and wow the crowd. Don’t forget about our Fun Flicks Outdoor Movies and Battle Blast Laser Tag – great additions to any community carnival!

About GO FESTIVE!

GO FESTIVE! is based locally in Philadelphia and got its start in 2007 as Festive Fotobooths. Inspired by the fun of the photobooth at Northbowl in Philadelphia, company owner Natalie Morin Hirsch created a traveling version and began bringing it to events as a way to make some money while completing law school. Three years later, the company now has 7 Fotobooths and offers other great services like Flipbooks, Fun Flicks Outdoor Movies, Battle Blast Laser Tag, and Festive Fun + Games. To reflect our diversification, the company name was officially changed to GO FESTIVE! in mid-2009.
Since its inception, GO FESTIVE! has provided entertainment and enjoyment at all types of events – from weddings to Sweet 16s to charity galas and community fundraising events.

Hello Goodbye

Last night the GO FESTIVE! team said goodbye to our first class of graduating interns (Brittany, Graham, and Tina) and hello to our new summer interns, Ashley and Abby. In a competitive bowling game series the interns reminisced about their time at GO FESTIVE! and chattered about what the future holds. Although Christine and Abby were missed, the night included piles of the best tater tots we’ve ever had, videos of flash mobs, photos to remember the night and personalized gifts for all the graduates! We wish Brittany, Graham and Tina all the best as they move on…although it’s rumored there may be a reunion for a Philly flash mob dance! Brittany, Graham, and Tina will all be missed here at GO FESTIVE! and the new interns have big shoes to fill!!

GO FESTIVE! Goes to the Dogs!

Everyone, it’s time you met the youngest member of the GO FESTIVE! team: Agda!

Agda's full AKC name is Agda the Pure, Seeker of Just a Little Bit of Peril

Agda is a 7 month old Yellow Labrador Retriever. Her duties around the office include napping, snarfing up crumbs, locating various inedible bits of stuff to put in her mouth, and charming visitors. She excels at her job. Agda’s name comes from Swedish culture and means “pure”. She is a card-carrying member of the AKC and in her spare time enjoys visiting the dog park, playing with her Kong, and following her owners (GO FESTIVE! team member Christine and boyfriend Todd) around the house.

Rumor has it that eventually the doggie-division of GO FESTIVE! will expand, once company owner Natalie and her husband Matt decide to take the puppy plunge!

Until next time…

Keep it Festive, everybody!
